WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FOR ELAINE’S WALK
In exchange for participating in Elaine’s Walk, a 2-mile walk through Sawgrass Island on March 9, 2025 (the “Event”), organized by Jim Stallings (“Organizer”), I acknowledge and agree as follows:
I understand that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries or damages resulting from uneven terrain, vehicles, weather conditions, interactions with other participants, or other unforeseeable circumstances. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages to myself, my family members, or third parties arising from participation in the Event, including those resulting from the negligence of the Organizer or any staff, volunteers, sponsors, agents, contractors, vendors, or other individuals involved in organizing or executing the Event (collectively, the “Released Parties”). I further release and discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of my participation in the Event.
By clicking the register button, I confirm that I have read this Waiver and Release of Liability, understand its terms, and voluntarily agree to them. I understand that this Agreement is binding upon me and my personal representatives, heirs, and assigns, and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or liabilities arising from my participation. I further acknowledge that the Organizer does not provide medical services or personnel, and I accept full responsibility for any medical costs incurred during or as a result of the Event.
